Default Compare the valve?

Evening all.

Where might a find a really good online tube comparison list that I can bookmark for reference?

I keep finding myself searching the web for hours, is there a definitive guide somewhere?

Cheers

Not sure what exactly you are looking for? Valves popular with audiophiles or something else. Not aware of anything definitive or close to it.

There's this, I'd take it with a grain of salt: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_vacuum_tubes

There are lots of places with lists of interesting valves not well known to the non diy crowd.

Here is one of our member's sites: Bartola Valves – All about electronic valves and hi-fi

A very useful russian site: Tube List (English)

Thanks Kevin. Jon nailed it. I've happened across pages but never sought the index. In future I shall. Cheers.

It also lists all the equivalent and near equivalent types. An extremely useful web site.

Really, how petty! Please respect other forum users and use PM for off-topic comments. Anyway, I've now modified that default tag line to make it clearer why it's there. Now back to the original discussion....
