Tubes from St.Petersburg, Russia?

My friend is going to St.Petersburg on holiday. Do you know any shops in there selling NOS/new tubes? I think tubes will be a lot cheaper there than here in Finland.

I would have to have a look at home to see if I can find an old invoice.

I have only dealt through them via the internet. But it does not seem they have an internet site anymore.

I work in Petersburg one week every month (programing telephone switches) past three years, and still cant find where to buy tubes.....I was only walking around Svetlana factory....seems all closed....also I was asking local people, technicians, with whom I work....nobody knows....

Why are you guys having a problem with Goldenmiddle's web site.
I though something must have gone wrong since I last saw it yesterday. So I just logged on a few minutes ago and it came up immediately.

Can you figure out what tube they used for the 30 watt single tube SET?

Hi Ashok,

It's a GM70...(close to an 845) I think the copper plate version...quite a few people are charmed by the tube.

There is even a yahoo users group for it.
