I found an old thread with a similar title, but there was no info in it on how to do calculations - as a member found a triode-strapped data sheet for the pentode in question.
I have a bunch of 1609 pentodes I'd like to use triode-strapped as small signal triodes.
I can find only pentode data.
Are there ways I can convert mathematically from pentode data to triode-strapped, to calculate such values as amplification factor, transconductance, plate resistance, some load line points, and so on?
I am going to purchase a curve tracer before long, but for now I'd like to just be able to get some triode-strap approximations by calculation.
Thanks.
