simple tube amp projects

Are you familar w/ Audio Xpress magazine? They've published a number of great "beginners" designs in the past year. They had a very nice tube preamp you can put together for about $200. (The Bottlehead Foreplay is another good "beginner's" preamp project).
AX also had a cool Push-Pull or SET tube amp project. You build it and can run it either as push-pull or single ended. And its not $$$$ either. Good luck on your project.
