According this schematic, EL 34 works with about 250-260 V, that is low for it. /On the cathode about 30 V. U plate-cathode is about 260 V/. Good sound it gives with 300-400V, IMO. This schem. will work good with tube 6P3S-E....
What costs this SE?

Thanks for the reply Azazello, the owner asks 400. He says it was built by an artisan, but my doubt is that it is one of the many amplifiers made in china, as there are many pictures on the internet of this item.

Are you buying to use it as it is, or to DIY experiment with and perhaps improve?

There's a lot of room for improvement there. But it looks nice and is already put together, with ok looking parts. So 400€ might not be unreasonable, if you plan to improve it. If not, I would definitely not pay that much (any money) for that circuit, no matter how nicely put together.

It is basically a higher power version of a 1950s wireless set audio stages. The SRPP first stage won't do anything much different from a normal grounded cathode stage, and the output is just a pentode with no feedback. It even has a valve rectifier, just like an old radio. If you like highish distortion and boomy bass then this is the amp to buy. Lots of 'tube sound'!

It looks like a cheap Chinese amplifier kit, €400?! more like RMB400.

All tubes are Chinese , they are quite reliable except the rectifier may be not as sturdy compared with others. The output tube is -B version which is good, but it should include a safety fuse say 150mA to protect the OPT in case short circuit in the output tube else it will cause you more. You can also try Russian 6H9C usually sound even better than Chinese tube in my experience. For that price you should bargain a little..
