Hi,

Here is the EAR schematic !

I have everything for this schematic just the power and output transformer missing. because I have to the correct Ra value for the EL509 and the value of the power transformer .

I don't know the EAR834 but I will find it on the web.

I'm sorry that we've had to remove the post of the EAR859 schematic. The reason is our uncertainty of it's copyright status.
If we can ascertain that it is "public domain" material, or if Tim deParavicini gives his permission, it will be restored.

It is certainly of great technical interest, and I certainly hope this can be resolved.

Hi,

One of the MAJOR assets of TDP is that he knows exactly how he wants his iron....

While you can try out ETM, you'll only be just that lucky to make it work the way you should...

Lest of course you have the equipment to test it in full etc., etc....

In short, if you don't have a plotter to have the new tube's curves drawn, you'd still be working blind...

Cheers,

dhaen

As far as I can remember this schematic was published the Sound Practices or Audio Express by Tim de Paravichini.

I will check it.

Thank you for the info. It looks promising.
Since I've written to Tim deParavicini, I'd just better wait for his reply.

Apologies for the inconvenience

Only one tube is best! Triodes do not work good together in parallel.

Enhanced Triode Mode was discovered and well documented in a Ham magazine for which I can't remember. Does it work... yea pretty well. But again parallel and push pull... well that does not sound good.

Thanks
Gordon

What works in your opinion ?

So REALLY.

I would also be interested in your opinion on that EAR 859 "enhanced triode mode" - good and usable or not ?

Cheers

Default EAR 859 Schematic

Tim deParavicini has agreed to allow posting of the schematic of this particular product.
I have therefore restored the post
It should be noted that he is the copyright holder.
