Tried but nothing.

Check your grid circuit. These tubes run in Grid Leak Bias mode. If the grid to ground resistor is not large enough it may not work properly. You should have about -10V and possibly as much as -14V on the grid.

A very high input impedance volt meter is necessary to measure the grid voltage.
