Default need a good 2a3 socket... need advice

I am in the process of building a 2a3 amp and want to use good and reliable 4 pin sockets. I have some Chinese made sockets, but in the past I have used old soviet sockets for my octals. I have yet to find soviet 4 pin sockets for my needs (would really like to if they exist).

Can someone here point me in the right direction for good quality 2a3 sockets?

Johnson made them back many years ago, I believe a Johnson 209 is for small 4 pin tubes.

Epay sometimes has excellent vintage USA sockets but you may have to be patient. You can search for Johnson, Cinch, National, and Amphenol. I usually buy them when I see them so they are "in stock" when I need them. One vendor has been selling NIB 4 pin Amphenol sockets for about a year but I don't know if he has them on epay at the moment.

Found some Nationals on epay and they are on the way. Thanks for the advice.

I will have to clean the contacts though. Thinking that some Deoxit will work for the job.

Be careful with contact cleaners that leave a residue... The residue will contribute to arcing between socket pins, which usually has negative results.
The residue attracts dust and dirt. Use a no residue contact cleaner.
