The limit of my tube experience is for now a collection of old radios, and a headphone amp I am building from a kit. Some time ago I acquired this lot of tubes from the estate of a retired electronics engineer. I have not had them tested. Most have audio applications, some radio, some TV. I would appreciate any input on their utility and/or value.

The first lot is what, based on the packaging and physical appearance, appear to be NOS:
1x GE 12FQ8
1x RCA 6HZ6
1x RCA 3A / 3B2
1x Raytheon 6EW6
1x Raytheon 6FQ7/CG7
1x Raytheon EL84 / 6BQ5
1x DuMont 12AU7
1x Westinghouse 3S4
2x Sylvania 6L6GC
1x Realistic (Mullard GB?) 6HA5 / 6HM5
1x Realistic 6EW6
1x Realistic 6GH8A

The following appear to be used:
1x Sylvania 6HSA
1x Sylvania 6GU7
1x Philco 5U4GB
1x Westinghouse 12BY7A
1x Raytheon 6SN7
1x Realistic 6AW8A
1x Realistic 6JU8A
1x Realistic 6EJ7
1x Ford 12AU5
1x FoMoCo 12BE6
1x GE IV2
1x Gibson 5879
1x RCA 6C4
1x ? 12BA6

The headphone amp I am building uses 1x 6080 and 2x 5670 tubes. I am going to initially run a NOS Thomson-CSF 6080WA and 2 closely matched GE 5670s. The headphones of choice are are Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250Ω. Any ideas on rolling tubes, any to trade for this lot?

The 6L6GCs are worth the most, $60 or more for the pair. Raytheon 6BQ5 is probably made by someone else, may be Japanese, worth $10 or more. 12AU7, 6CG7, 6GH8, 6GU7, 12BY7, 6SN7, 6EJ7, 5879, 6C4 have possible audio use, all are common tubes. 6HA5, 12AU8, 12BE6, 12AU6, 12BA6 are radio and tuner tubes. 6HS6, if that's what it is, is a fairly hard to find tuner tube. Remainder are TV tubes.

I'll happily trade you a lifetime supply of 5670s and 6080s for the lot... :)

Thanks, Tom! The info is greatly appreciated. I think I will put the pair of 6L6GCs up for auction to defray the coast of the amp and tubes I just bought. Now I need to find a tester in the DC area......Would you be willing to trade anything for what is left? I may have some more crumbs around.......
