Wad 6550

AS some have read, I am considering this along with the Ella. I E-mailed WAD asking some questions and what the U.S. price would be -- no response. Has anyone here had issues dealing with them?

Also, read somewhere that in back issues of Hi-Fi magazine, there is an upgrade advise.

Anyonoe have this?

You'll get more response over at the WAD BB.

The upgrade article covered replacing the vol pot with an Alps Blue, the cathode caps replaced with BG std's and the coupling caps with Jensen PIO's, thats it!

Thanks Bryan. I was so into looking at circuit diagrams, and descriptions, I didn't see the BB secion.
