I have been trying to find the answer in the forum, but I can't get it spelled out for me.

If an amp is meant for "audio reverb" purposes instead of "hi-fi" what does this mean?

What is the difference I guess between "audio reverb"and hi-fi"

Sorry to make a posting out of this but I couldnt find any clear cut definitions.

Thnx,
Brian

From the dictionary:

v. re·ver·ber·at·ed, re·ver·ber·at·ing, re·ver·ber·ates
v. intr.
To resound in a succession of echoes; reecho.
To have a prolonged or continuing effect: Those talks with his teacher reverberated throughout his life.
To be repeatedly reflected, as sound waves, heat, or light.
To be forced or driven back; recoil or rebound.

guess you know what hi-fi is ;)

Hope it helps.
