Default Cap substitution help

Please find relevant schematic section attached (from Luxman CL34 preamp). There are two 1uf coupling caps in parallel coming off of V7. Is there any reason (electrical, sonic, whatever) one shouldn't substitute one 2uf in their place?
Thanks.

Half the ESR, double the ripple, symmetrical layout??????
Maybe the builder didn't have 2uF caps in his parts bin but he had plenty of 1's?

Possibly, the cap mfr chosen may not have made a value in that series over 1uF.

Maybe two 1uF caps fit better than one 2 uF cap physically. A more typical reason is that 1uF caps are used elsewhere in the system, and part quantity discounts could be had. There shouldn't be any significance difference electrically.

dc blockers, those caps go to a selector switch, some sort of tone control network...file:///C:/Users/TECSON/Desktop/hfe_luxman_cl-34_schematic.pdf

no problem with using a 2ufd single cap in plaxe of 2 x 1ufd...
