Hello folks,
I have a pentode/triode combination tube which runs on low voltages (12V anode). I am only using the triode for now. I didn't connect the grids and anode of the pentode, but since the triode and pentode share the kathode, electroncs are moving in the direction of those pentode grids... Can this hurt the tube? Greetings, -- Charl |

I don't see how any damage could be caused.
However, with the pentode's anode and grids floating, it could have a random effect on the triode's operation, so best to ground them. |

The only B9A valve I know of is the ECL80. Among 7 and 8 pin valves, Eg B7G, Octal it is necessary to share because there are not enough pins. |
