Does any have built this amp? Can replace El34 with SV6550C?
or may be suggestion about building another good sounding PP amp specially using 6550...

I wanna build this because it has no feedback (which alot of people say it has a bad effect) and it uses plate load on driver....

Help me please...

I have not had good luck with the SV6550C tubes due to premature tube failure. For that reason, I have converted my power amplifier to Sovtek KT88 tubes. I couldn't be happier.

Inverse feedback in push-pull amplifiers is almost always necessary to reduce crossover (notch) distortion and to reduce the output impedance of the amplifier.
