while im trying to find a book locally to save shipping cost, I still need a amp.

I will change what I udnerstand from the thread then, once the book is read, return to the amp to try to make it even better.

1- I will replace the choke to Hammond 159Q
2- I now understand that I have a 500ohm total at the cathode resistance. I have two 1k resistor in paralel which give me 500ohm total. Just to be sure, if I want to have around 750 ohm total, I should try to replace r13/r14 to 1.5k. that in paralel would give me 750 ohm which is what is recommended. Do I get this right?

Thats it for now, I will try this and see how better the sound is.
Please, if you can, just confirm that number two is well understood.
