Dear Everyone,
Well, I have had a chance to compare cryod Philips Jan 6922s,
cryod JJ6922s, and non-cryod JJs.

I would have to rate the cryod JJs as a little better than the
cryod Philips Jans cryod tubes, which are both superior to the on-
cryod JJ 6922s, in my designs.

Both cryod 6922s and cryod Philips 6922s are simply fantastic, extremely open, neutral, relaxed, spacious etc. The cryod JJs do have better inner detail and better highs than the cryod Philips Jan 6922, yet are not strained or harsh in the least.

The cryod JJs are very accurate in the bass too. Very very relaxed sounding. Images are simply there, natural, correct soundstaging with depth, width etc. I would rate the cryod Philips Jans as
better than the non-cryod JJ6922s, more relaxed, although the non-cryod JJs seem to have a touch more highs.

The cryod JJs are a little more relaxed, with better definition than the non-cryod JJs.

I found the testing very informative. There is definitely a
difference, not major but a difference, in sonic quality between cryod and non-cryod tubes.

Components used were:

Teac Cd player modded by Stan Warren and
Rotel CD player, forgot model number
10A Line preamp
25WPT PP amp
System Audio 1270s with wire and cap mods.
