Hi all.
I ran across a pair, but very little info on them.
According to Aronov they are the same as the LS-9100?
A quad of self biasing 6550C and 6AN8 driver tube.
Apparently 6550C and KT88's work.
Just wondering if anyone has run across these, or heard a pair.
Thanks.
Dave.

I had two of them, still have one. If you download the old Dynaco transformer catalog you'll find the schematic for them. One of the differences is the type of B+ rectification. Another difference is the OPTs have 2,4, and 8 Ohms output impedance instead of the 4,8, and 16. Plate-plate imp. is approx. 2200 Ohms. Mine were/is adjustable fixed bias. The other adjustment is in the plate circuit of the input pentode of the 6AN8. Tried calling the company about the adjustments didn't get any useful answers. I don't remember what I did for the plate adjustment, maybe set for lowest distortion at some output.

Craig

Mine came with GE6550s.
