I just received this amp from Canada.
My set up:
Source: Computer thru USb and then thru Audioengine DAC
MP3 files right now
Power amp: VK-2100
Speakers: B&W 603 S3
Speaker Cables: Stranded wire with Nakimichi ends
(I have CAT 5 braided wire to hook up--just waiting on my banana plugs)
Interconnect: Audioengine supplied RCA cable

Out of box it doesn't sound bad. It uses the 12AT7 and 12AU7 tubes. I think I will replace after breaking in.
It gets loud. In breakin tho I am taking it easy.

Other amps I've owned: Adcom 555 MKII, Denon 1806?, Acurus A-200 x 3
Other speakers I've owned: Paradigm Monitor 7, Audioengine A5+
This is more musical than any of those other amps and these speakers sound great.

I'm no audiophile. I'm just a guy who loves good sounding music and is sharing his experience. I look forward to modding this but right now I'm leaving well enough alone.

The only thing that worries me about this amp is the poor air circulation for the heat sinks. They are mounted hard against the metalwork to effectively stop proper convection cooling and the situation cannot be helped much by the outer casing. Maybe I am worrying too much and just hope the output transistors are capable of living in that environment OK.
