Anyone have a copy of the Schematic (or better yet, the service manual ) for a Fisher FM-50B tuner?
I have a nice FM50B here that has started dropping out one channel when it warms up. Many thanks, - Gary |

If you can't get one from any other source, you can buy one from these people reasonably priced:

Thanks, pretty inexpensive for the service manual ($5.75).

I have one of these tuners, too, and both channels played very faintly. If I yanked out the 12AX7 audio amp tube, there was no difference. Turned out that the two 0.1uF coupling caps near the tube were open. Replacing those brought it back to life. I'm looking for a service manual, too. Finally figured out how to re-string the dial cord. Nice little puzzle to solve.

FM-50 (no 'B') manual is online at fisherconsoles.com. Likewise, FM-50 is covered in Sams Photofact folder 553-6, but 50B isn't listed. I've heard that KM-60 is the kit version of the FM-50B - that one is at Fisherconsoles.com

Hi, Tom
Thanks for the info; I'll check it out. I wonder why the FM50-B information is so obscure. |
