Default High gain Tube amp problems

I am trying to get a compressed high gain tone (think Mesa) from my Mig 100. I modded the schematic to the same specs as a JCM800. I also changed the CF to another gain stage and it still is weak. It sounds buzzy, not tight. Maybe I should mod the power amp as well? Can anyone post some schematics of amps that have been built and are known to sound tight, and only uses two 12AX7's? Thanks alot.

(Also, I apologize if this comes up often or is too vague, I am new here).
