Does anyone know the g1-plate capacitance of triode connected EL34 ?

According to the Ayumi EL34T model, 7.2pF.

Thanks again.
Now, excluding Cg1-a+Miller effect, I assume that the Cin (=mainly Cg1-k) is 15.5 pF as is specified as pentode.

I don't know if Ayumi actually measured them or got the figures from somewhere, but here are the capacitances used in his EL34T model:

CGA G A 7.2p
CGK G K 9.1p
CAK A K 8.4p

The origin of this subject is that I have claimed that an ECC83 as a common cathode stage is capable of "drive" triode connected EL34 SE.
My earlier LTSpice simulations show that this is fully OK, but quite common opinion is that it is not.
Maybe I have to take the soldering iron...

Default Optimising Spice model parameters

I was asked by Bondini to measure a few 5CZ5 pentodes on the uTracer which I duly did. I then extracted the Spice model using Derk Reedman's extractmodel for the beam pentode using DERKE. One set of triode connected curves and 4 sets of pentode curves for different values of Vs were used. The visual correlation between simulated and measured data looked pretty good.

I then built a simple Spice circuit that simulates what the uTracer does in UL mode, and measured the same on the uTracer. The comparison is shown in the attached file, with the solid blue lines being the Spice curves and the other coloured curves being the measured ones.

You can see some deviation in the area of interest, which is probably due to the inclusion of too many low current data points in the optimisation.

Any views on this?

I searched this thread for a model on the 50EH5 and had no luck. If someone out there has one or can make one that would be bananas.

Actually I wouldn't mind learning how to do this myself, does anyone also have a link to making a spice model from datasheets/plate curves?
