Is it possible to use a regulated solid state power supply to drive a Ciclotron OTL amp? What would be the pros and cons?

Don't forget that a regular circlotron has two floating HT supplies for each audio channel. The supplies could be regulated but you'd need four of them for stereo. As Artosalo has mentioned, you could easily use a regulated supply for the bias requirements.

Mosfets can be used as regulators.
Below is an example. There are three adjustable regulators. But for circlotron, all must be floating, not having common ground as in this drawing.
The common stabilized reference voltage (about 330 V) is done with two zener diodes D203 and D204. Required output voltage is then adjusted with trimmer resistors P7...P9.
12 V zeners connected between source and gate of each NFET are for protecting purposes, not stabilizing. Practically any NFET having max. operating voltage of 500 V is OK.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
