Another vote of high praise for WIMA MKP/FKP.

I will go Russian teflon when I'm in the mood and have the room, and go exotic on my passive crossovers, otherwise it's WIMA.

Not so expensive? A 4.7uf +/-2% 800 volt, which is the closest thing to the one pictured, at Madisound is $162.00! Wanna buy me some and ship to the states?

What!! You're kidding. 250V-400V is the standard. Also +/-2% is very tight than normal. You're not talking about MKP10 I believe.

No, he's talking about the $10 audiophile cap with the $152 story attached.

You should read the True Copper Crap of his buddy Holger Stein, Steinmusic & Audiofino.

(diy guy turns commercial, and before you know it : Magic stones and Woodies, room Harmonizers and Quantum Purifiers. Started out selling hybrid amp kits with silly transformers, silly as in 'special' and expensive)

i would like to see them xrayed or opened, maybe just normal caps inside nice cover

"special edition" tubes like 300B pair for +300€ is ... weird.. to be polite

Even if not, so what? It has "features" useless for the purpose and a price that set by fashion rather than BOM.
