Default No Sound from Magnavox EL 1484-1 amp/phono

I pulled an old Magnavox Suitcase Stereo Record Player out of my attic but not getting any sound or static from either channel. It is a three tube set up with two 50eh5's and one 12AX7. All tubes seem to be working. The amp is a EL 1484-1. Any suggestions?

Hi Cablenelson, welcome to the forum.

This might be a worthwhile read, particularly Kevinkr's post 4

Thanks for the info and link. I had already come across that thread but it does not address the sound issue.

Is this some sort of code for "all tubes seem to have glowing heaters", or have you measured currents/voltages and confirmed correct operation which is why you are now puzzled that no sound is coming out?

No, I have not measured currents as I do not have equipment. All tubes glow. I even changed with another set but still not sound at all.
