Nice looking trannies. I might suggest, instead of potting them due to possible heat build up, to use transformer covers. Various vendors in China seem to have them (one example: Audio Catalog) or an idea I saw elsewhere on this site, was to use a hammond cast aluminum case. Invert the case, don't use the lid, and fasten from below. Just a thought ...

I found some enclosures that would work but they would cost about $180 with shipping. I can build four of them for about $20 that will look just as nice. As for heat? The power transformer is built for 400ma operation and with a quiescent current of 275ma they should run fairly cool?

Is it possible to post a connection diagram of these output transformers with reflected impedances? I would also like to know the dimensions of these, thanks.

Also, you purchased yours from Heyboer without the bell covers and pieces of angle instead, correct? I would assume Heyboer has bells to fit these if one desired?

Default Transformer Diagram

Actually the OPTs came with endbells but I removed them so they could be potted. I'm trying to find the output transformer diagram.

Thanks for the information, very interesting. The challenge will be to use the extra secondary windings for proper feedback.

Is the output transformer's primary bifilar wound?

You mean the secondary don't you? Yes the secondary is bifilar. I saw those on Ebay. I would need $220 worth plus shipping. I can build four and powdercoat them for less than $50

Tom, the feedback windings have same spec as original. The original circuit will be a good starting point.
