Default mid voltage tubes?

i have a 24VCT (7A), 14VCT (3A) transformer. if possible i'd like to use this in making a tube headphone amplifier as i have it and a new tranformer would be at least $8 for shipping alone...

so i was thinking of voltage doublers, quadruplers, triplers, ect...

but even with a voltage quadrupler, i still can't get much over 100Vdc, and i will have more ripple. so i wanted to know what tubes work well with mid voltage. not low voltage like 12V car tubes, though i could use them if you guys reccomend them.

realize that i have little money, so please reccomend affordable tubes that aren't $100+ each. try for $10 or less each.

100v can work fine for a headphone amp..

6DJ8 or 6N1P would probably work OK for this.. 1/2 as gain and 1/2 as a CF

You can multiply the voltage from the transformer secondary up as far as you dare!
