I got some NOS Teonex VT-4C (211) tubes. Teonex was an England company that used to rebrand tubes. I always thought all the 211 I got are GEs but recently I just found some 211s with angular plates which indicates that they are Taylor 211
GE 211s have round plates (with no sharp angles)I just want to check if there is a sonic difference between GE and Taylor 211? has anybody any experience about Taylor 211? |

Hi,
I have had 6 taylor vt4c with sharp angles and their measures were very similar. Difficult to say if the sound was better than GE ( GE had not a a good uniformity, some good, some not ) because I have always preferred the RCA VT4C and I had tested the Taylors only for a few hours. |
