Default Cathodyne fet buffered balanced line out

I built a preamp with an edcor 600ohm output transformer driven by a cathode follower for XLR balanced out. However, in the rack unit I cannot get the transformer to stop picking up power transformer flux regardless of where I place it. It has no shielding so it's an easy target.

I was thinking about forgoing the transformer but still wanting balanced line out. I googled bits and suggestions but nothing concrete about using a cathodyne with mosfet source followers to buffer the outputs. To me it sounds reasonable, anything I should be aware of? What kind of current will these things be pulling? I have some LND150 here, but can get some IRF820 at work. I modeled it in LTSPICE and it looks like they pull around 5 ma and the circuit works, but I do not know how to measure output impedance to see what it all ends up looking like.

Any comments?
