Opinions for 6550 bias.
 
Are there any recomendations for cathode bias in push pull amp with two 6550 per chanell?
I'm using G.E.

Yeah, each 6550 should have its own decoupled cathode resistor, do not share one R between two tubes.

ok,i won't share one R with two cathodes,but could you help me with the bias adjustment?

6550 plate dissipation is around 42W , you must never exceed this value , bias depends on B+ voltage and class of operation ...

Anyway i bias amps to get minimum cross-over distortion at max output power before clipping and assuring i'm not exceeding the plate dissipation rated...
