Worth waiting for....A-Grade gear (despite the fact that preamps are almost certainly a thing of the past)...

Same here. Received my board a few days ago after about a 10 day wait.

Good point!! Although JB doesn't seem to listen to vinyl....which does beg the question: why is 99% of his audio theory based on the preamp?

I currently have a NP B1 buffer which works great with my powered speakers; no gain needed. However, I was a long time tube guy and want to get back into them, so it looks like a Glassware buffer would be a great option with the increased current delivery. Any benefit between the 9 pin and octagonal versions besides the capless option due to the bi-polar supply on the octagonal version?

I am building a DCB1 buffer... I started this thread in December but that was after I had waited 2 months. I think I first tried to buy in Oct. of last year. 6 months and still not in stock. Should this come back I may try it.

The Gary Dodd tube buffer is also nice, and I think he always has them in stock.
