correctly connecting PT for 110/220 volts
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all,
I have got this amp stripped but forgot to take notes.... again...... Although i was smart enough to write down the OT connections this time, I forgot the Power transformer connections between main, 110/220 switch and the PT... But I Need to connect this PT to the 220v (236) we have over here... Do i use both the 0-110v connections? Also there is already a conection between the 230mA and E connection which is also connected to ground? and I wonder why... Thanx..... again..... |
looks like there is a 110v-0-110v connectiong.
you should test 230volt across the two 110s, and just forget about the 0. probably a senter tapping. and allso connect a 50-60 watt light bulb in series with the transformer, so it it doesnt work it just lights up instead of killing the transformer. |
