You should actually be looking for resistors with a slightly cool balance. Rasta makes 5W's you'll love.

I bought on e-pay cheap as dirt MLT-2 (metal film) and S5-16 (wirewound) resistors, both manufactured for Soviet military.

20t20, thanks for the pic, but there is no way for me to order something like this without a link to the manufacturer or seller. I keep on coming up with Reggae stuff when I google the name.

Digikey has a nice selection of Vishay resistors. It seems the metal film are limited to 1 watt. Beyond that they are wire wound. Though I didn't do exhaustive search.

Yes, that's going to happen. Rasta and reggae are joined at the hip. But when you find them and get some Cool Runners in your amp you'll have that smoothness of reggae and the truth of Rasta flowing through those KT88's for the first time in their life.

I think someone is having a little fun, eh? Those look suspiciously like sand filled bottom feeders, err resistors to me..

FWIW it is pretty hard to go wrong with Mills non-inductive wire wound resistors available almost everywhere fine resistors are sold.

I'd say zero ohms and 20W would be a subtle clue...
