Those are "high 80's" sensitivity. Should work well in a home environment with a 100WPC tube amp. With solid state amp you might need more. Heck that combo would even work in a small venue as a sound reenforcement PA
I happen to have a 105 dB speaker and a 5W tube amp. It works out I get the same sound volume and dynamic range as your 89 dB speaker driven with 100W |

I used them in both modes. Triode sounded very nice with some Dusty Springfield spinning. Tetrode with Dire Straits. Don't get me wrong. They are awesome amplifiers. The best I have had to date.
I have been reading a lot about the Odyssys and have an opertunity to give them a try. I hope I don't regret it. |
