All the caps likely need replacing,
I'd add a power supply choke and convert it to an RH84. If anything like the ECL82 versions i have, it will have very nice iron. Pictures? dave

Increase the value of the (25uF) cathode bypass cap.

Found this amp a few years ago in an antique store. Hardly any use.
Trying larger coupling caps(.22), not sure if they make any difference. |
