I have a 6bq5 ultra linear pp amp. It's a leak 20. . It works fine until....
You remove and then replace one of the RCA input leads any where along the signal chain (while it's playing) then
One channel gets really loud and distorts and the other is really quiet.
Every component on the amp is new ( a year old now) except the transformers. New valves, it's not the leads nor the pre amp and it's not the speakers. It's in the amp. I have tried different taps on the OT. I don't have an oscilloscope or signal generator. I have some fuzzy notion of what's happening but can't figure it out.
Please do you have any ideas why this happens?
