Thanks Mosquito, you are right, by the way, here is the better schematic, i've replaced the bottom resistor with cascoded depletion mosfet ccs to reduce noise and distortion.

This is a push pull amplifier. The cathode follower output is in phase with the cathode coupled triode below it. So, they are pushing and pulling each other. The resistor-capacitor network forms the bias voltage for the cathode coupled triode, and nulls the noise at the plate by Broskie-style noise-nulling technique. Sorry for bad english.

Yes, it can be viewed also as a grounded grid SRPP with additional cathode follower on input. I.e. 4 triodes instead of 2.

my statement about this circuit looks like gomes ala tcj is completely false, the gain stage of gomes ala tcj is grounded cathode, and mine is common cathode, sorry.
