Hybrid amplifier with PCC88 (ECC88) + LM1875
Hello all!
Want to make this hybrid amplifier given by the schematic.
Therefore, seek the opinion about this amplifier. Is this pattern should or needed some changes to the schematic?
Please for comment.
thank you!

It's a bit pointless. The cathode follower adds nothing. The strength of tubes is in voltage amplification, not current amplification. The LM1875 has a sufficiently high input impedance that a tube buffer before it is nothing but fashion. Plus, you now have to build five power supplies instead of the two of a normal Gainclone. For a better use of tubes and chipamps, try:
SuperTriodes & Inverted ES Speakers
where a tube provides the voltage gain and the chipamp provides the current gain with a nestled feedback loop.

It reminds me Joe's one
Tube Gainclone for DIY Buffs
Just search for inverted gainclone + tube on the Forum , there must be a thread
about the circuit , though I've never understood the difference between the 1MΩ and 10 KΩ resistor versions ....

I'd also suggest using something other than the ancient LM1875, LM3886, etc. You can do much better with the LME-series, such as the LME49811.

I just opened my AXL T-15R mini guitar combo, and it has a 12AX7 and an LM1875...
Another example of why it's not an accurate reproduction amp, but more of an effects amp. Look at the TubeCad article I linked too. About a third of the way down is an example of a better way to combine a Gainclone and tube.
If you are unable to insert the schematic.I just opened my AXL T-15R mini guitar combo, and it has a 12AX7 and an LM1875...
thank you
P.S.

Hello!
What do you think of this design: in this schematic the amplifier with LM1875 to add this to the input buffer with PCC88?!
Or someone has a better solution?
thank you
