Advice on replacing Yaqin MC-10L

Hi all,

I have owned a Yaqin MC-10L for a year and loved it. It was my first tube amp and I am now looking for an upgrade.

What I did not like about the MC-10L were the RCA plug. Low quality and easily come out with tight cables.

The obvious upgrade is the MC-100B. However, it has been difficult to find someone who has compared both, to identify that the MC-100B is a clear upgrade.

I want continue with a chinese tube amp. Any comment on how MC-100B compares to MC-10L would be great. Any advise on another amp that would provide me an upgrade would be great too. I need at least 30W per channel.

Hi Serge!
Are you looking for an upgrade in sound quality or build quality? As nothing was said about sound, I assume the latter. Just exchange the connectors on the MC-10L and your set.

Both, but mostly sound.
In term of build quality, I was happy with MC-10L except for the RCA plug.

In term of sound quality, will MC-100B be clearly better?

Replacing the RCA plugs on the MC-10L is difficult. The 8 plugs are grouped. Therefore if you replace by individual plugs, the new ones will take to much space. Plus it would require a lot of soldering which (to my shame) I am not very good at.
