I have built a 18 watt tremolo version years ago
http://www.ceriatone.com/images/layo...Wceriatone.jpg I absolutely love the amp... not interested in master volume or that sort of thing. But I have an unused dana hall vvr kit for a cathode biased amp lying in the drawer. And I hardly ever use the low input jack on the trem channel, So I was thinking about putting it in here, to be able to go into gainier territory at bedroom levels... I think I know how to scale down the high voltage on the whole amp (from the standby switch?) But Im not shure how I scale down the power section only. Not sure about advantages or disadvantages either? Can someone enlighten me? Thanks in advance -Kasper |
