I have been VERY happy with my newly completed Aikido.
I chose to build mine with 300V B+ and now I am looking for some "Fancy" tubes. I see the 12AU7 & 12AV7 are happy with 300V B+ but the MU values are different than my 6CG7's. 6CG7's have about MU 21.8, the 12AU7 MU 18.1 & the 12AX7 MU 100. What differences would I notice with the different MU values? They all seem to have about the same I/O gain levels. |
