Help with amp please.

I have a pair of approx 95db spkrs. I will be running 4 channels of t amp to the bass drivers through a mini dsp. I am looking for a nice tube amp to handle the midrange duties with the full range drivers. I would like some suggestions for a nice sounding but simple to build amp. I would only need a few watts.

A triode wired "El Cheapo" will give approx. 6 WPC. As deep bass extension is truly a non-issue, you could save a few $ by using Edcor's GXPP15-n-8K, where n is the voice coil impedance.

From your description, you might be able to eliminate the volume controls.

Well thank you. that is very interesting. I haven't seen that one. It sounds perfect.

That should be an excellent amp for your system. I have a 6P1P (soviet equivalent to 6AQ5) PP amp in similar configuration driving a set of 96dB/W-M speakers and it is more than adequate.
