Default Little Dot MKIII ??????

I have been toying with the idea of getting a Little Dot MKIII preamp for headphone use.
I currenly have one of those cheap 6N11 headpone amps from eBay.

Recently I conected my 6N11 amp to my Lepai 2020A (I'm using the Lepai temporarily until I get something better) and the 6N11 preamp buffering the sound made the cheap Lepai's output sound better.

Two questions:
Is the MKIII any good?
Is it a good practice to use a preamp with a "T" amp?

Also, I might use the MKIII with a dedicated power amp in the future.

BTW. I would be lying if ii did not admit that I love the looks of the MKIII.
