Default Try a Creek

I've seen Creek's OBH-12 passive pre recommended for use with
Quad II's.
It's a tiny wall-wart powered pot in a box with (RC-5 Philips type)remote control,two line inputs,a tape loop and a pair of pre-out sockets.
As with any passive forget those low down dirty bass lines but with suitable short interconnects I'm sure you would be more than
XXXXX,using a OBH-12 a mag. said "you're likely to be shocked by the transparency this tiny box can offer."
Their cost new was UK pounds 200 and I've seen used units for
half that amount.
