Default Yaqin 100b channel imbalance

Good day! I had this amp in for service. One of my complaints a imbalance between left and right channels (also a burnt resistor). The technition told me that he saw what looked like excess wire rolled up and placede in a corner. He said he took it out and put it back and the imbalalnce went away. When I got the amp home, it was most certainly corrected, for about a week! I'd like to take a look at this but cannot figure out how the top cover comes off. The bottom plate was easy. Any directional help? Also, is any one familar with this excess wire? I did note a post in this forum on on identical problem, but there did not appear to be a solution posted. Help most appreciated!

Larry

I don't think the top cover comes off. You work on this amp from the underside. There's a lot of screws from what I remember but you work on it for underneath. The board will come out from below to work on it. It's a pain to work on for sure.

Cheers,
Bob

There is NO top cover. It is all single chassis. You can only access it from below.
