Tony was asking about the 6ME5 which seems to be a rare Japanese tuning indicator tube. I have never seen one.

Perhaps these 1956 sample circuits for the 6E5, electrically similar but with differing pinouts, will be useful. (scan from grandpas-shack in Japan, thank you). I really wished I had a translation tool that could take images for input and do OCR. A late 50's hobbyist electronics experimenters magazine there put out an annual issue with about a hundred user-submitted circuits per issue sorted by tube type. There were many clever creations.<br><br> Sorry about zipping the pdf, but it was just barely over the size limit otherwise.
