Hi guys,
Today I received a shipment of 4 GM-70 tubes. One of them has a small (1mm) piece of glass rattling around inside. The getters look intact, and I can't see any cracks in the glass. Can this hurt? |

On its own, no. This assumes the glass is clean and non-conducting (e.g. no gettering on it) so it doesn't matter where it lands. However, it may be a sign of a manufacturing fault which could cause trouble.

Yes the glass looks clean. I've looked inside to see where the piece could have broken off but I can't find the spot.
