Default Caddock MK-132 or Mills MRA-12 as plate R?

The Caddocks are smaller and cheaper than the Mills (both 100K/400V) but are they suitable as plate resistors in a guitar amp? I'm looking for the quietest resistor to help quieten a noisey amp.

To put the question another way: are the Caddock film type of resistor as quiet as the Mills wirewounds, or do wirewounds rule for quietness?

The Millls are very good for noise and somewhat more tolerant of overloads.

Well I've read of guitar amp modifiers commonly using 0.5W as plate resistors so I thought the important figure was the voltage rating. But obviously this is wrong. I'll go with the Mills. Thanks to you both for your input.
