Chassis size and layout question
Was wondering if there are any concerns with building an amp in an oversized chassis. I am going to build a single end guitar amp and wanted to utilize a larger sized chassis I have laying around. What are the pros and cons associated with this idea? Thanks!

Everything I build squeezes into a 19" rack shelf. If you plan on ever selling your equipment, you may want to consider things like this.

Pro - easier layout, easier to work on, more opportunity for placement and routing options to avoid hum.
Con - it's bigger so it takes up more space. If you already have the chassis, go for it. What amp? 5e/F1 (Champ)? GA5-LPJ (Less Paul Jr)? |

Check out Front Panel Express. They have free chassis design software and then after you designed your own chassis, they will have it made and ship it to you. Their pricing doesn't seem too bad ..
