Default Anyone ever tried these output transformers?

Found this while surfing around. Have any British DIYs ever used these before? The guy won't sell overseas according to his info page. What a shame. Such a big market and so few choices.

Hard to say, but he likes Moto-Guzzi rather than Ducati, so that's minus points in my book. The transformers don't seem to have very many hard measurements attached to them.

As the title suggests this is the manufacturer and suppliers of Maplin in the UK . From what I've seen : cheap and cheerful . No doubt our friends across the pond will find better quality value for money with Hammond .Just a thought

Hi,

I've looked at these before, but not used them.
They appear to be "cheap and cheerful", and reasonable for low end gear.
As 316a points out, they won't be worth shipping any distance, where local suppliers exist.

Cheers,
