I have a gu-81m that I have built a tesla coil with, but I want to build something with a gu-80 but they are really rare, I heard about the Chinese remake the fu-80, I've seen a couple of pictures, but does anyone know were I might purchase said tube?
sorry if this is under the wrong board |

FU, what a fitting prefix for Chinese tubes.

just out of curiosity, why would you want to use the gu80 when it is almost identical to the gu81m?
Why don't you try something different like one of those pulse tetrodes for radar use. Very high anode capability, huge current surge tollerance. |
